Lake of the Woods Museum
The award-winning Lake of the Woods Museum, located in the City of Kenora at 300 Main Street South, is one of the finest small museums in Canada.
It was established in 1964 to collect, preserve, research, exhibit and interpret objects that best illustrate the founding, settlement, and development of Kenora and the Lake of the Woods area.
Today, this well-established museum is home to a varied and rich collection of artifacts and local history archives which serve not only as a basis for the permanent exhibits but also for changing thematic displays and special events.

September to June - OPEN Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 5pm
July and August - OPEN everyday 10am - 5pm

New Year's Day, Easter weekend, Victoria Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.

Seniors/Students (age 6-17) - $2.00
